Last Saturday, a spectacular scene, described by many as a “miracle,” took place off the coast of Punta Arenas, in southern Chile. Kayak professional Adrián Simancas was training when a huge baleen whale suddenly emerged from the water and swallowed him and his kayak. The entire dramatic event was captured on video by Simancas' father, Dell Simancas, and quickly gained enormous attention on social media.
