Tirol, Österreich - A shocking case caused a sensation at the regional court: a 16-year-old youth was recently convicted after he had spread extremist IS propaganda for months. His activities, which took place from spring to autumn 2023, included not only the spread of extremist content, but also the spread of National Socialist symbols and pornographic representations of a minor. The process took place behind closed doors because the defendant is minor. The jury owed him in all charges: participation in a terrorist association and the distribution of prohibited content as well as re-activation according to the Nazi ban law.
