There is currently a total blockage on Autobahn 3 in the direction of Würzburg! Just after 10 a.m. there was a terrible collision near Obertshausen involving four vehicles. The situation is tense: According to reports, at least one person is trapped in a vehicle and urgently needs rescue!
The police, rescue services and fire brigade are already on duty and are doing everything they can to quickly treat the injured. The rescue workers are fighting against time! There are important detour instructions for all drivers in the area: Leave the motorway at the Obertshausen exit and take the L3117 onto the B448, then onto the B45 before you can get back onto the A3 at the Hanau junction!

The accident on Autobahn 3 is causing massive traffic disruptions and the bottleneck is currently a hot security area for everyone involved. It remains to be seen how quickly the fire department can free the trapped person and when the highway can be reopened. It is strongly recommended to avoid the area and use the detours to avoid getting stuck in traffic!
