Chaos in the four oak skin tunnel! On Thursday afternoon, October 31, 2024, a frightening rear-end collision occurred in which four drivers were slightly injured. At around 2:00 p.m., a 56-year-old man was driving his Mercedes on the B14 towards the city center when he suddenly noticed the end of the traffic jam at the tunnel entrance too late.
In a devastating moment, he plowed into a 50-year-old's VW without braking. This then crashed into the Skoda of a 48-year-old driver, which in turn was pushed with force into the BMW of a 70-year-old that was standing in front of him. An ominous sight as the vehicles wedge into each other! The fire brigade and rescue services were quickly on the scene to look after the injured. The driver of the Mercedes was even taken to the hospital - a threatening situation for everyone involved!
The injured are safe!
Fortunately, all four drivers who faced each other without coordination in this terrible incident only sustained minor injuries. The fast and professional rescue workers ensured that they received the necessary medical help. Further proof of how important it is to act quickly in traffic accidents. The consequences of this accident could be worse, but the horror is deep!
