Drama on the streets of the Ostalbkreis! On Wednesday, around 6:40 a.m., there was a spectacular traffic accident in Ellwangen when a 54-year-old driver ignored the right of way of a 19-year-old VW driver in her Fiat. The collision caused property damage amounting to an impressive 7,000 euros. Who would have thought that a simple driving maneuver could have such consequences?
Meanwhile, the peace in Bopfingen was disturbed: an exciting bicycle theft took place in front of a fitness studio on the same day! An orange “CHTEEA” mountain bike with a new value of around 1,800 euros was secured with a combination lock between 5:15 and 6:15 p.m., but when the owner returned, the bike was missing! The police are now asking the public for help. Who saw anything?
Wheel nut confusion
But that wasn't all! In Täferrot/Utzstetten between October 18th and 23rd, unknown perpetrators escaped with an adventurous operation: They loosened five wheel nuts on a VW that had been parked unnoticed in a carport. A dangerous act that could have potentially resulted in a fatal accident! The Leinzell police are looking for witnesses to this risky behavior. Who noticed anything?
And things remained turbulent in Heubach too: At 12:40 p.m., a 33-year-old VW driver hit a 63-year-old pedestrian while reversing at the intersection of Poststrasse and Bahnhofstrasse. Fortunately, the woman was uninjured, but the damage to the vehicle amounted to around 500 euros. What a day in the region!
