The incident was caused by the braking of a 29-year-old driver of a BMW who had to stop at a traffic light. The situation escalated when a 21-year-old driver, also in a BMW, apparently reacted too late and drove into the vehicle in front.

The 29-year-old driver's 8-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries as a result of the impact and had to be taken to hospital for further examination. Fortunately, no serious injuries are known. The 21-year-old was less lucky because his vehicle was no longer drivable due to the damage and had to be towed away.
