A serious accident occurred on Monday, October 21, 2024, in Schopfheim, when an 89-year-old driver ignored a 65-year-old scooter driver while turning in a construction area. The older man was driving his Toyota on Bismarckstrasse and wanted to turn around at the junction with Adolf-Müller-Strasse when the collision occurred. The scooter driver fell and sustained serious injuries. The emergency services immediately took him to a clinic.
