Fortunately, everyone involved was uninjured, including the two passengers in the Mercedes, who were accompanied by their two dogs, which were stored in the trunk.

At 3:30 p.m. the left lane was opened to traffic, which significantly eased the situation. Only about 15 minutes later, the remaining closure was completely lifted so that the motorway was once again passable in both directions.
