Herscheid/Halver– Red alert on the streets! On November 4, 2024, the police authorities carried out speed checks in Herscheid and Halver, and the results are a real thrill! In total, thousands of vehicles were recorded during several measurements at both locations!
Shocking numbers from Herscheid
In Herscheid, on the L707, between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m840 vehicleschecked out. The result?156 vehicleswere in the warning fine area and37 traffic offendershad to expect charges of administrative offenses. The fastest rider, a cyclist, raced at breathtaking speeds81 km/hthrough the 50s zone - a dangerous pace that is not without consequences!
Halver – speed rush here too!
But that wasn't all! In Halver on the L528 between 12:09 and 6:13 p.m. an even more frightening result was recorded:2,427 vehicleswere on the list! Here were at least122 vehiclesregistered in the warning fine area and19 road usersfaced with administrative offense charges. Here, too, there was a very special speed offender: the fastest cyclist was included83 km/hcaught in a 50 zone!
