A shocking incident occurred on Tuesday in Strasburger Strasse in Kehl when a 43-year-old pedelec driver was slightly injured in a collision with a car. The cyclist, who was traveling in the opposite direction on the bike path according to initial information, was quickly taken to the hospital after the accident at 5:30 p.m.
The Mercedes driver, a 33-year-old, is accused of taking the right of way to the cyclist when she approached the site of a nearby petrol station. The exact circumstances are still unclear what makes this incident all the more mysterious.
