On Sunday, November 3rd, a dramatic accident happened on the K52 between Morkepütz and Bomig! A 37-year-old motorcyclist lost control of his bike around 1:50 p.m., raced into a curve and crashed into the guard rail! Luckily the man from Gummersbach only suffered minor injuries, but the shock is deep!
Damage to the motorcycle
The motorcyclist's injuries required outpatient hospital treatment, while his motorcycle was terribly damaged. It's hard to believe the strength and twists the road demanded of him. The day, which began with the joy of riding, ended in an accident that affected both the motorcycle and the driver's health.
The police are now investigating coincidence or fate - the road conditions and driving style could have been decisive! Another wake-up call to caution for all motorcyclists!
