On Tuesday, October 22nd, the officers from the Darmstadt Narcotics Police Department had the right nose and searched an apartment on Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße. As part of an ongoing case against the daughter of the residents of the house, law enforcement officers made a startling discovery. What they found in the basement was anything but harmless!

The investigators started at around 12:40 p.m. after receiving a search warrant from the Darmstadt district court. Suddenly, a suspicious smell came from the basement, which caught their attention. The 52-year-old father of the family was quickly arrested. Police found more than 40 cannabis plants that were being cultivated illegally. But that's not all - the officers also secured a dagger, which makes the situation even more explosive!

The investigation is now underway against the 52-year-old and is being investigated on suspicion of illegal cultivation and trafficking in cannabis.
