Drama in Eltingen! On Monday, October 28, 2024, a shocking traffic accident occurred shortly after 5:40 p.m. when a 35-year-old pedestrian was struck by a Mercedes in the zebra crossing. The 70-year-old driver of the car apparently overlooked the pedestrian when she left the roundabout on Römerstrasse and drove towards Bahnhofstrasse. An unfortunate moment that resulted in minor injuries for the pedestrian!
The impact was violent: the 35-year-old fell to the ground and had to be treated immediately by first aiders. Brave passers-by rushed to his aid and called 911. The emergency services later took the injured man to a nearby hospital, while the Mercedes did not appear to be damaged.
