Frankfurt (ots)– A heartbeat for justice in Frankfurt! On Thursday afternoon, October 31, 2024, a 47-year-old man was caught red-handed stealing a bicycle. The dramatic events unfolded at around 3 p.m. at Ostbahnhof, when an alarmed 29-year-old discovered that her beloved bicycle, secured with a folding lock, had disappeared without a trace. Determined, she immediately called the police and did everything she could to find her bike again.

The triple coincidence culminated at the Obermainanlage, where the law enforcement officers finally discovered the thief - and it was no ordinary bicycle thief! When the 47-year-old suspect was arrested, the officers discovered that there was already an arrest warrant against him. Like a shadow from the past, the net of justice closed around him as he tried to escape on the stolen bike.

The stolen vehicle was quickly returned to its rightful owner. For the suspected thief, however, there are now serious consequences.
