Lengerich shocked by brazen break-in!
On Tuesday, November 6th, 2024, the city of Lengerich experienced a shocking incident. Between 12:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., unknown criminals gained unauthorized access to a residential building on Tecklenburger Strasse, very close to the Ibbenbürener Strasse/Brochterbecker Strasse roundabout. The perpetrators used brutal force to pry open a window on the ground floor!
What followed was a real looting! The unscrupulous intruders ransacked every drawer and cupboard in the living room and were eventually able to escape with valuable jewelry. The exact amount of damage caused has not yet been determined. But the Lengerich police are alarmed and are asking for information from the public.
