On Tuesday evening, November 12, 2024, the police alerted citizens when an unknown perpetrator broke into a supermarket on Andreas-Clausen-Straße at 11:20 p.m. With unbroken nerves and a criminal energy, the burglar tried to break down a metal door and gain access.

The vain attempt

According to initial findings, the perpetrator wanted to get valuable tobacco products, but his attempt to open a cupboard failed. Instead, the unknown person fled through the damaged door and ran away in the direction of Robert-Koch-Straße. The police were alerted and immediately had their hands full clearing up the incident.
