There was a break-in at a company in Buchen in the Neckar-Odenwald district on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday. Unknown perpetrators forcibly gained access to the business premises between 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. They first broke open a gate and a door to get inside the company on Rathausstrasse.
After gaining entry, the burglars moved on and broke through another door to steal mid-three-digit euros in cash. They also caused significant property damage by destroying several surveillance cameras. The exact amount of damage has not yet been determined.
Looking for clues
The Buchen police have started an investigation and are asking the public for help. Witnesses who made suspicious observations during the specified period of the crime are asked to call 06281 9040. Such clues could be crucial in identifying the perpetrators and preventing possible further harm.
