Burglary in the Famila market: perpetrators blow up an ATM in Syke!

In Syke, crime reached a new dimension on the night from Wednesday to Thursday! Unknown perpetrators broke into the Famila market at Hachepark and put the police on alert. In a bold move, the burglars climbed the roof between 9 p.m. and 5:50 a.m. to get inside the market via a flower shop. They attacked an ATM and forced it open. What exactly they stole remains unclear, but the police immediately secured extensive evidence and began an investigation. The Diepholz police will accept information on 05441 / 9710.

Traffic accidents with injuries!

But it's not just crime that is shaking the region, the streets are also dangerous! On Thursday morning, around 8:50 a.m., a rear-end collision occurred on Bremer Straße in Brinkum-Nord. A 52-year-old car driver was slightly injured when she had to stop due to cross traffic. The 41-year-old driving behind her recognized the situation too late and crashed into her car! The damage? At least 10,000 euros!

And the accidents don't stop! On Thursday evening, around 6:50 p.m., there was another rear-end collision on Syker Strasse in Melchiorshausen. A 25-year-old driver braked too late and hit a car that had to stop in front of her because of oncoming traffic. Here too, the airbag deployed and the young woman sustained minor injuries. The material damage is enormous – at least 25,000 euros!
