Break-in at Shakespeareplatz: Police are asking for information!
On Saturday afternoon there was a break-in in a single-family home in Verden, more precisely on Shakespeareplatz. Between 6:30 p.m. and midnight, an unknown perpetrator broke into the building. He gained access by prying open a door to the winter garden at the back of the house and then searching the interior of the house for valuables. The investigation in this case was taken over by the Central Criminal Investigation Service, which is asking for the public's help. Another event took place on Saturday morning in Kirchlinteln. A 14-year-old cyclist wanted to cross the main street on Schulstrasse and ignored the red light of the traffic light. As a result, there was a collision with an 18-year-old driver who was driving a Seat Leon. Fortunately, the teenager only sustained minor injuries, while the driver's vehicle sustained minor damage. As a result, he had to leave his vehicle behind and it had to be towed away. In addition, the driver's license was confiscated and criminal proceedings were initiated for endangering road traffic.
