Alarm mood in Laupheim! Burglars wreak havoc in the city center, leaving behind chaos and fear. After a break-in at a shop on Mittelstrasse on a turbulent night from Monday to Tuesday, the police are now reporting two more frightening incidents. The first break-in happened between Monday evening and Wednesday lunchtime in a popular inn on Sebastianstrasse. A brazen perpetrator climbed over a fence to the beer garden, cracked the entrance door and triggered the alarm system. But the burglar was able to escape empty-handed and caused several hundred euros worth of damage to the damaged door.

Another attack under the veil of darkness

In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, disaster struck the residents again on Sebastianstrasse. Between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. the intruder forced his way into an apartment building. After breaking down the door to the building, he also attacked the door to a storage room that was full of tools and machinery. But this time the evil was lucky and left the valuable items untouched. Nevertheless, the perpetrator left behind damage of around 400 euros. The police have started an investigation and are receiving information about the three break-ins. There may be a connection between the crimes that keep the detectives' routine busy during the dark season. Patrols will be increased and residents passing by will always be vigilant!
