An e-scooter driver in Enger was slightly injured in a traffic accident on Monday evening, October 14th. The 42-year-old man from Bünde was on Hermannstrasse at 8:57 p.m. and wanted to turn right at the junction with Minden-Weseler-Weg onto the sidewalk and cycle path in the direction of Bünde.
At the same time, an unknown cyclist was driving on the Minden-Weseler-Weg footpath and cycle path towards Enger. At the point where the two road users were at the same height, there was contact, causing both to stumble and fall to the ground.
Escape of the cyclist
After the collision, the cyclist got on his vehicle and disappeared without leaving any further information. The e-scooter driver was taken to a hospital with the help of an ambulance, where he was treated. Fortunately, the injuries turned out to be not serious.
