Chaos in Künzelsau: Security attacked and woman seriously injured!

Heilbronn (ots)

A 29-year-old caused a stir in Künzelsau! In the early hours of Sunday morning, around 2:50 a.m., the man attracted the attention of security forces when he confronted them with offensive comments. His violent behavior continued when he threw a trash can onto the street and damaged the front door of an asylum center. Despite massive resistance, the police who arrived were unable to calm him down, which led to his admission to a psychiatric facility. The heavily drunk man even tried to hurt himself in his cell - luckily he and others remained unharmed!

Fire and devastation in Künzelsau

Another drama unfolded in Künzelsau when a 56-year-old tried to burn some leftover brushwood on Saturday afternoon. What started harmlessly ended in a dangerous inferno as flames spread to an adjacent hedge and trees. The fire department had to intervene quickly, but was unable to prevent property damage of around 1,000 euros. Another example of how rash actions can lead to serious consequences!

But that wasn't all! In Öhringen, a bicycle accident shocked those present. A 60-year-old cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a Citroen while she was riding on the cycle path along Seinsfeldle Street. A 62-year-old who wanted to pull out of a hardware store parking lot was unable to avoid a collision despite emergency braking. The bikers had to be taken to hospital after first aid treatment - another incident that illustrates the dangers of road traffic.

Restrained speed controls in Bretzfeld

On Friday morning, drivers in Bretzfeld were put through their paces! During a speed check on Öhringer Straße / Weißlensburger Straße, 38 vehicles were detected. Only three of them were too fast - the front runner was driving at 57 km/h in an area where 30 km/h is allowed in urban areas. On the positive side: none of the road users have to expect a driving ban! A pleasing result that indicates that most drivers are following the rules.
