Chaos on the A8: Accident driver wanted after final traffic jam collision!

Last Saturday afternoon, an incident occurred on the A 8 motorway in the direction of Luxembourg, which resulted in extensive traffic disruption. An accident was reported around 2:00 p.m., which occurred about 700 meters before the Nalbach motorway exit. Due to the necessary rescue work, the motorway had to be completely closed for a short time. This led to a significant backlog, which at times extended to the Schwalbach exit.

A few minutes later, around 2:30 p.m., another accident occurred at the end of the traffic jam. A silver car moved from the right lane into the fast lane, forcing the driver behind to immediately brake. To avoid a collision, the driver steered to the right, which resulted in a collision with another vehicle and the guard rails there. This unexpected turn of events resulted in two people suffering minor injuries. However, the driver of the silver vehicle, which may have been a Mercedes, continued his journey undeterred and is currently wanted by the police.

Police are looking for witnesses

These events highlight the need for extra caution, particularly in high traffic areas and during congestion. The incident has reminded authorities and road users to remain vigilant and act safely to minimize accidents and the associated dangers.
