The eye-catching “Cyber ​​Trading Fraud” (CTF) in particular has turned out to be a treacherous trap for investors who are lured with illusory returns for cryptocurrencies and stocks. The alarming numbers speak for themselves: In Germany, white-collar crime cases rose to 38,925 in 2023, a worrying increase that is also hitting Rhineland-Palatinate hard. 1,767 offenses were recorded here, a jump of over 12 percent. The balance sheet is devastating - the total damage climbed to over 83 million euros!

Fight against corruption – an urgent concern!

But that's not all! Corruption is also on the rise and is causing unrest: 3,841 cases nationwide, an increase of 6.7 percent, which is causing devastating damage, especially in the health sector. The economic loss due to corruption has reached the shocking sum of 57 million euros! The introduction of the anonymous reporting platform is intended to give citizens a voice and actively involve them in combating these crimes. Interior Minister Ebling emphasizes: “We are strengthening transparency and protecting trust in our constitutional state.”
