On the shocking night from Saturday to Sunday (October 26th to 27th, 2024), the party fun in Nuremberg city center turned into chaos when aggressive discotheque visitors challenged the police! Officers called in to assist faced a real nightmare as they tried to regain control of the explosive situation. Tragically, a police officer suffered serious head injuries and had to be treated in hospital!
The fateful evening began around 3 a.m. when security forces at a club on Kaiserstrasse alerted the police. A 37-year-old guest behaved aggressively after being thrown out because of his unruly behavior. The arriving patrol car was met by an angry man who resisted every measure and ultimately had to be taken into custody. The situation quickly escalated when he also insulted the police officers!
Resistance and injuries!
A little later, at 3:45 a.m., help was needed again, this time on Adlerstrasse, where a 19-year-old had demolished the door of a nightclub. He also refused to be calmed down, which resulted in officers having to handcuff him. During the operation, the man did not calm down and slightly injured an officer during the arrest. However, the real shock came when another incident happened shortly after 3am outside another club on Bahnhofstrasse when security reported a person with what they thought was a weapon!
Almost simultaneously, brutal violence broke out between passers-by. When the police tried to intervene, they were attacked by an uninvolved young man while they were trying to mediate. The brutal attack ended too late for the 21-year-old man, who fell to the ground with the officers and attacked the police officers. A police officer suffered serious head injuries that required urgent medical treatment! The police have now initiated investigations into bodily harm, physical attacks on law enforcement officers, insults and damage to property against all perpetrators involved. The night that started with fun and joy ended in a bloody and shocking nightmare!
