Johannes Aigner and his guide Nico Haberl continue to lead to the Para-Ski World Cup and thus continue their dominance in the new year. Two descents were held in Santa Caterina that were extremely scarce. Aigner successfully extended his podium series and put a promising start to the season in Steinach/Brenner.

His twin sister Veronika Aigner won twice in the giant slalom, while in slalom she took second place behind her teammate Elina Stary. Johannes Aigner, born on April 29, 2005, is an Austrian, visually impaired Para-Alpinski driver. His path in professional sport began with the debut at the World Championships in Para-Snow-Sport 2021. At this event, he won gold medals in the slalom and in the parallel event as well as silver medals in the Super-G and in the giant slalom.
An outstanding highlight in Aigner's career was the Paralympic Winter Games 2022, in which he won five medals, including two gold medals. In detail, he won gold in the downhill run and giant slalom, as well as silver in the super combination and in slalom, and secured a bronze medal in the Super-G. Aigner is not alone in his sporting endeavor. His sisters Barbara and Veronika Aigner are also visually impaired para-skiers and contribute to the strong performance of their family in international skiing.
