Sleep patterns decisively: this is how it influences their fertility!
A new US study has presented alarming knowledge about the influence of sleep quality on fertility. According to research, which was published in the journal "Fertility and Sterility", women with irregular sleep patterns have to wait considerably longer for their desired child. Priv.-Doz. GDR. Michael Feichtinger, head of the Feichtinger desired baby institute, explains that 70 % of women with regular sleep habits are successfully pregnant within one year, while women with very irregular patterns are only 20 % who could fulfill their desire to have children, such as ots.at also holds.
These alarming results illustrate the essential role of a stable sleep rhythm for couples with desire to have children. Regular sleep can not only promote general health, but also have a positive impact on fertility. Therefore, Feichtinger emphasizes: "In the sense of our fertility and health in general, we should therefore pay attention to regular sleep and do something good for it." A lack of sleep could therefore not only lead to health problems, but also delay the hopes of pregnancy unexpectedly.
