Recall at SPAR: Dangerous foreign bodies in popular salads!
In an alarming turn of events, SPAR has recalled several products due to quality issues. The “SPAR rocket salad 125g”, the “SPAR Vital leaf spinach 500g” and the “SPAR Natur*pur organic baby leaf spinach 100g” are affected. These recalls follow routine checks during which it was determined that foreign bodies in the products mentioned cannot be ruled out. The specific batch numbers are: 24526108 for the rocket salad, 24526109 for the leaf spinach and 24526114 for the organic baby leaf spinach. All products have a best before date of January 4th, 2025, like ots.at reports.
In a separate but equally critical recall, SPAR also took a closer look at the “SPAR Natur*pur Organic Almonds 200g”. An increased content of bitter almonds was found, which leads to health concerns. The batch numbers for the organic almonds that are also being recalled are L7111297 and L7111298, both with a best before date of August 29, 2022. Consumers are strongly warned not to consume these almonds anymore. Here too, all other SPAR products and almonds are not affected Gutekueche.at reports.
Customers who have purchased one of the products mentioned can easily return them to any SPAR, EUROSPAR or INTERSPAR store as well as to Maximarkt. The purchase price will be refunded even without presenting the receipt. If you have any questions, please contact the consumer hotline on 0800 / 22 11 20 or the email address office@spar.at. This recall ensures that consumer health comes first.
