Hirner is fighting for a comeback: Will she show her best in Ramsau?

Lisa Hirner, the talented combiner, is worried about her participation in the upcoming World Cup in Ramsau. After a health crisis that began with a fever for several days, she said on Monday: "Unfortunately I was sick and had a fever for several days, and on Saturday it was still 38.5. But I definitely want to travel to Ramsau. I definitely want to start, but if my health doesn't allow it, I won't rush into anything." Her coach, Willi Denifl, confirmed that Hirner's health was a top priority. For the World Cup she is supported by Anna-Sophia Gredler and Katharina Gruber, while the men's team is made up of eleven athletes, led by local hero Franz-Josef Rehrl and the Rettenegger brothers, like the Small newspaper reported.

Hirner's potential and coach optimism

Willi Denifl, the ÖSV women's coach, is optimistic about Hirner's future. “There is still much, much more to it,” he explained, adding that in the medium term she could represent serious competition for the current favorites, Gyda Westvold Hansen and Ida Marie Hagen. He is convinced that Hirner has the potential to be world class, even if this year is more of a transition. “She always has the quality to be at the forefront,” Denifl continued, as did von crown quoted. His enthusiasm for the team is reflected in the expectation that all athletes will show a strong push in the coming season.
