In a courageous step, employees can bring their beloved dogs to the office - a push that is supposed to raise the work culture to a new level. Over a period of twelve months, it is tested how the presence of four -legged friends affects the well -being and health of the employees.

Mayor Frank Luke is enthusiastic: "With this pilot project we show how modern working conditions can combine efficiency and a good working atmosphere. A dog in the office has been proven to ensure relaxation and strengthens the cooperation." This initiative is a clear sign of innovative, employee -oriented approaches in the administration. City Councilor Thorsten Schatz, who has been strong for office funds for a long time, is also positive: "Office funds not only promote health, but also set a sign of respectful coexistence."

The pilot project is first tested in the department, planning, environmental and nature conservation. Clear framework conditions are created to ensure harmonious coexistence. This includes agreements with the colleagues, evidence of dog keeping as well as special regulations on leash obligation and exercise times. The test phase runs until November 2025, after which the project is evaluated.
