Celebrate diversity: Conchita Wurst brings love to the Diversity Ball!

Big spectacle in the Vienna City Hall! On September 6, 2025, Conchita Wurst will conquer the stage of the Diversity Ball and once again set an example for equality and acceptance. Tom Neuwirth, who is behind the icon, made history with his victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and has since been known for his art and his commitment to an inclusive society. The Diversity Ball, one of the most colorful celebrations in the country, promises to be a celebration of diversity and this year's motto is “TOGETHER WE RISE,” as the organizers emphasized. Monika Haider, the initiator, emphasized that the event wants to send a clear signal for strengthening the community.

Colorful festival for everyone

The Diversity Ball has already been considered one of the most inclusive events in the past, and that will not change in this edition. In May 2022, around 2,000 guests danced at the 14th Diversity Ball in Vienna's Kursalon to celebrate diversity in all its facets. With a great audience response and presentations ranging from brass music to beatboxing, the event offered a colorful evening full of joy. Inclusive programs ensured that all guests, regardless of background or disability, felt welcome. The ball not only provided a platform for music and dance, but also for important messages of inclusion and mutual solidarity.

Special highlights have been announced again this time, including performances by Vincent Bueno and other artists such as DJ Anna Ullrich, who will create a great atmosphere in the Volkshalle with energetic music. All program items should be designed to be barrier-free to enable participation by people with different needs. Tickets are already available on diversityball.at and oeticket.at, while the event in the Vienna City Hall can be expected to have even greater dimensions, as shown not least by the honors from last year, such as the Lovemore Awards, which honor committed personalities for their contribution to diversity.
