Lions Club Tuttlingen supports children in the hospice with heartfelt donations
The Tuttlingen Lions Club provided impressive proof of its social commitment last Saturday. As part of a celebratory donation handover, the club presented an amount of 5,000 euros to the Sternschnuppe children's hospice in Villingen-Schwenningen, which cares for children with seriously life-limiting illnesses and their families. President Stefan Schuhmacher emphasized the importance of such facilities and explained: “It is important to us to support facilities such as the children's hospice, which make an invaluable contribution to our society.” This donation resulted from various fundraisers, including a jam sale at the Christmas market, the proceeds of which were generously matched by the Lions Club. Maria Noce, the head of the children's hospice, was deeply touched by the support: “This donation helps us to implement important projects in the “Sternschnuppenbande” residential area and to offer the children and their families the best possible care.”
