Wolfsberg celebrates: First school with the Carinthian seal of talent!

An outstanding moment for the Bildungswelt Wolfsberg elementary school: The school received the coveted “Carinthian Seal of Talent”, awarded by State Councilor Daniel Fellner. This marks the school as a pioneer in supporting and encouraging talented students. At this institution, 304 students are taught in 16 classes by 40 teachers who place great value on individual talents and strengths. Director Andrea Zraunig emphasizes that, in addition to regular lessons, there are special offers such as NAWI groups for those who like to experiment and cooperation with sports clubs and the Wolfsberg music school. Even outside of class, students reported numerous opportunities to develop their skills, such as Zumba, soccer and chess klick-kaernten.at.

A wide range of courses for talented people

However, the promotion of talent goes beyond elementary school. The new course program of the talent centers for the 2024/25 school year was presented at a conference. These programs are aimed at all interested and talented students who want to deepen their knowledge. The courses at the talent centers in Memmingen and Marktoberndorf are in particular high demand. The course “slam poetry – or poetry slam”, which is offered at the Bodensee-Gymnasium, is particularly interesting. This shows a commitment to promoting creative and project-oriented work, with students having the opportunity to exchange ideas and collaborate across school boundaries. For those interested, details on registration and course offerings can be found on the website Lake Constance High School available. The registration deadline for the courses is July 11, 2024.
