Former national player Sebastian Prödl is about to move to the ÖFB after months of speculation about his return to the football association. According to a report by the Salzburg News Prödl will be used as sporting director for the U15 to U21 youth teams and plans to work closely with the players and coaches. For this new task he will give up his position on the supervisory board of Austria Vienna. Prödl will be officially presented soon.
