Arnautovic: Switch to Napoli? Cassano brings new wind into play!

Marko Arnautović, the 35-year-old Austrian football star, may be faced with a change in winter. His contract at Inter Milan expires until summer 2025, but he only plays a subordinate role in the current squad of the "Nerazzurri". The speculation about a possible transfer increases, since Antonio Cassano, the 39-time Italian international, clarifies in a podcast that he trusts Arnautović a promising future at Napoli. Cassano could imagine the ÖFB record player as a serious challenger for the striker Romelu Lukaku: "Arnautović could kick Lukaku in his butt that he would put pressure on him," he noted, while he questioned Lukak's previous services, although he achieved ten scorer points in 14 starting elevators, as laola1.at reported.

Arnautović started his career at the Floridsdorfer AC and has played in different countries since then, including an engagement at Inter Milan, where he was loaned for one season from 2009 to 2010. This year he actually returned to Inter, which continues his previous, moving career. He showed impressive achievements, among other things with a historic Champions League goal in the 3: 3 against Benfica, which was his first goal in competition after more than 12 years. In view of his skills and experience in international football, it remains to be seen whether Arnautović will actually take the step towards Napoli. A change could represent a fertile incentive phase for the player, who still demonstrates his qualities, as Cassano stated: "He still has his qualities at the age of 32." This could also be important for Inter Milan, because a sale could bring financial advantages in winter.
