München, Deutschland - The luminaire manufacturer Zumtobel plans to invest a total of 191 million euros in research and development in the next three years. This announcement, which was made on Wednesday, focuses on the development of intelligent light solutions for both indoor and outdoor areas, especially for smart buildings and smart cities. Despite this future -oriented orientation, the company is faced with challenges: the construction economy is weak, which leads to stagnating sales in the first half of 2024/25.
