Robbie Williams: From Darkness to Light – A New Chapter Begins!

Robbie Williams, the British singer and former star of the boy band Take That, spoke about his impressive journey in a recent interview with “Stern”. The 50-year-old, who has been drug and alcohol free for almost a quarter of a century, says he has overcome his addiction by simply not thinking about it. "I don't consider myself a former alcoholic. I'm just Rob who doesn't drink," Williams said. This perspective helps him to overcome life's challenges without falling back into old behavior patterns. “The difficulty is more about dealing with life on your own terms,” he admits, emphasizing that creative activities help him in difficult moments.

Film start and plans for the future

His experiences are featured in the new biopic “Better Man,” which hits theaters on January 2nd. The film not only shows Williams' artistic career, but also the dark sides of his life, such as self-destructive excesses and psychological problems. As the Morning post reports, Williams today looks back on his past calmly. “I wouldn’t change anything about my life,” he explains, emphasizing that he now feels fitter and happier.

As an ambitious future plan, Williams also has in mind the creation of his own university for entertainers to help artists stay mentally healthy. Despite his success, he worries about his four children because he believes addictive behavior could be genetic. For Williams, family remains his top priority, especially during the holidays, which are very important to him and his wife, Ayda.
