Theater sensation in Flacht: A laugh for the whole community!

In the Aartalhalle in Flacht, the theater department of the Flachter fire brigade provided amazing entertainment last weekend with the comedy "The Spanish Fly" by Franz Arnold and Ernst Bach. This timeless staging, which was created more than 100 years ago, captivated the enthusiastic audience with wit and charm right from the start. The actors, including Katja Tinius and Armin Bendel, brought the piece in which morality and double morality are unabashedly put on the stage with lively performances. According to the Rhein-Zeitung , the audience was transformed into a "living room" in which you would be happy to enjoy the specification.

acrobatics and comedy combined

The staging not only impresses with its funny dialogue, but also with almost acrobatic interludes of the actors. Like The German stage reported, Wolfram Koch ensured great cheerfulness with a spectacular appearance in which he used a trampoline for his juggling. Meanwhile, Christine Ursprung, known from the Münster crime scene, fought amazingly funny with the oversized carpet while trying to overcome it. The mixture of slapstick -like situation comedy, in which word jokes were cleverly used, made the spectators laugh heartily and led to an unforgettable evening.

The combination of imaginative direction, stage comedy and unusual costumes that presented the characters in a variety of ways made the limits of lust and morality blur. Director Fritsch knew how to blow away the double standards of the middle -class society and captivate the audience. With this entertaining performance, the Flachter Theater pulled all the stops and once again demonstrated that classics of theater literature can also be interpreted fresh and exciting.
