In a tragic incident in Zwettl, a person was rescued from the camp, but it quickly turned out that he had already died. The Zwettl-Stadt fire department responded quickly with 16 members arriving with emergency vehicles. The Red Cross and the police were also on site. The injured, including two children aged five and 13, were taken to nearby hospitals. One seriously injured person even had to be flown to a clinic by intensive care helicopter.
