Serious bobsleigh accident in Winterberg: World Cup race postponed!

At the World Cup four-man bobsleigh in Winterberg, the race was postponed due to a serious fall on a track sled. The incident occurred in the finish corner before the second round. An occupant of the track sled suffered serious injuries and received emergency medical attention immediately. A rescue helicopter was used to rescue the injured athlete.

According to reports, the pusher fell out of the bobsleigh and injured himself while the sports equipment with the pilot slid towards the finish.
