Revolution in fire department protection: The new FIRE EAGLE 2.0 EXG is here!

On June 2, 2025, HAIX will launch the FIRE EAGLE 2.0 EXG, a revolutionary firefighting boot that is the first of its kind to use GORE-TEX CROSSTECH® EXTRAGUARD material. Superior technology and comfort

The internal GORE-TEX CROSSTECH® lining ensures a waterproof and breathable environment and is also bacteria and virus proof. This boot meets the DIN EN15090:2012 standard and F2A requirements, making it an essential part of personal protective equipment. Cleaning is uncomplicated: it can simply be cleaned under running water without the need for special care products.

Another special feature is the RapidFit closure system, which allows for quick adjustment and tightening with just one hand. Practical experience

A practical test with 22 firefighters from the Munich fire department over a period of 12 months shows that 73% of the participants rated the boot as “light” and 9% as “very light”. The re-drying was rated as “good” by 73% of the testers and as “very good” by 27%. An impressive 91% said they would continue to wear the boot in the field. These positive experiences underline the high performance and acceptance of the FIRE EAGLE 2.0 EXG in the fire service community.
