A dangerous fire broke out on the quiet Goedeke-Michel-Straße in Hooksiel on Thursday morning around 6:00 a.m., which was discovered by an attentive neighbor. Garbage cans were on fire and threatened to spread to the neighboring residential building. The brave resident acted quickly and alerted the fire department!
Thanks to the quick intervention of the Wangerland (Hooksiel) volunteer fire department, a major fire was prevented. Although the flames were extinguished, they caused damage to the building, the extent of which cannot yet be estimated. The police immediately began investigating the cause of the fire and are hoping for information from the public.
