Despite the intensive efforts of the fire brigade, they managed to prevent the flames from spreading to the adjacent residential area and everyone remained uninjured. However, the 140 cattle in the stable were in acute danger, which led to a dramatic rescue operation in which numerous respiratory protection teams had to fight the flames to save the animals, as well as the Upper Austrian news reported.
