On June 10, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on the B 164 in Fieberbrunn, Tyrol at around 2:50 p.m. A 69-year-old Slovenian citizen crossed a dashed line to overtake an Austrian army bus, resulting in a tragic head-on collision with another car driven by a 43-year-old Austrian citizen. While the driver of the bus remained uninjured, both car drivers suffered injuries of an unspecified degree and were taken to the St. Johann district hospital in an ambulance.
According to Fireworld, the accident occurred when the 43-year-old moved to the left lane to overtake a truck.
