On Monday evening, November 11th, the fire department was called to a burning piece of garden furniture on Thielenstrasse at around 8:40 p.m. A plastic garden chest was on fire - and the cause was still unknown! The dense clouds of smoke not only alerted the fire department, but also the residents, who reacted quickly.
The situation was dire: the burning chest was right next to a residential building, which resulted in property damage to a window and a door. But thanks to the courageous intervention of the neighbors, something worse was prevented! The Kranenburg fire department was quickly on site, took over the extinguishing work and checked the building for hidden sources of fire and heat damage. Fortunately, there was no further damage to report.

After the fire brigade had completed their work, the site was safely handed over to the owner. But the excitement isn't over yet! The police have already started an investigation into the mysterious cause of the fire. What could have caused the fire?
