In another incident on Wednesday afternoon, a traffic accident occurred in Heinsberg Lieck, in which a driver of a Hyundai and the driver of an Audi Q5 were involved. While the Hyundai driver drove towards Heinsberg, an Audi came towards her, and there was a collision, the cause of which has so far been unknown. After the accident, the Hyundai hurled into a small hedge, while the driver of the Audi removed from the scene of the accident without taking care of the Hyundai driver and her two children caught in the vehicle. Fortunately, witnesses helped and were able to free the children from the car. The fire brigade completely locked the Waldfeuchter Straße, while the emergency services took care of the family.

Investigations lead to the arrest

The police, who was on site to take an accident, immediately started looking for the fleeting Audi driver. With a so -called "Hansel and Gretel investigation", the Audi was finally located.
