Fast charging in Lübeck: CITTI-Park is a convincing test winner!

The Lübeck public utilities have achieved great things! Your fast charging infrastructure at CITTI Park impressed the testers at Auto Club Europa (ACE) and was crowned test winner in Lübeck! With an impressive score of 14 out of 19 possible points, the charging station received an excellent rating. This award was ceremoniously presented on site on Tuesday, and the team around project manager Marc Kudling was visibly proud! “We are very pleased that our fast charging stations were able to convince the ACE testers,” said Kudling while the certificate was presented.

State-of-the-art charging performance for electric cars!

Three high-performance charging stations with 150 kW and 300 kW are available to electric drivers at CITTI Park. There are also 17 normal charging points with up to 22 kW waiting for electric car drivers. These convenient charging stations are not only innovative, but also user-friendly! The ACE test even included 24 criteria! The handling, user-friendliness and service quality of the fast charging stations played a particularly crucial role. The testers were enthusiastic about the high quality of stay on site.

But that's just the beginning! As part of the nationwide ACE club initiative “Does Germany have charging power?” In 2024, at least 190 locations with two charging stations and two charging points each will be tested in all 16 federal states. The goal is clear: uncover deficiencies in the charging infrastructure, demand improvements and provide positive feedback! With a strong group of around 700 volunteers under the ACE umbrella, all signs point to progress!
