Jobbing Tour 24: Career event inspires over 3,000 visitors in Saarbrücken!

The Europa Gallery in Saarbrücken experienced a spectacle of career opportunities! The Jobbing Tour 24 attracted over 3,000 visitors, including schoolchildren, students and young professionals, who were able to find out about the Saarland professional world in an exciting, interactive environment. With innovative job stores, practical workshops and networking opportunities, the event became a magnet for everyone who wants to venture into professional life.

A day full of possibilities

Already in the afternoon the crowds were overwhelming! In his opening speech, State Secretary David Lindemann emphasized how important such formats are: "The transition from everyday school life to working life is often challenging. The Jobbing Tour 24 helps young people find orientation and take their first steps towards professional experience." Visitors were provided with tour bags and logbooks to help them find their way through the diverse range of offerings.

Direct contact with employers

74 exhibitors presented themselves on three floors and offered authentic insights into various professional fields. Participants had the opportunity to have their application documents checked and take part in a free business photo shoot. The speed dating sessions in the Matchmaking Café, which enabled direct exchange with employers and university representatives, were particularly popular. This initiative, which was implemented in close cooperation with the Saaris economic development agency and other partners, shows how important the promotion of young talent is for the future of Saarland as a business location.
