Irish MMA star Conor McGregor is set for a spectacular boxing match against American social media star Logan Paul!
It's official! Conor McGregor, the former king of the UFC, has confirmed initial talks for a boxing match with YouTuber and influencer Logan Paul. In an exciting post on social media, McGregor let the world know that he is in tentative agreements with the family of billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani to make this fight happen in India. “I agreed,” the 36-year-old announced on Tuesday.
The news comes at an explosive time as McGregor is under pressure following a recent court ruling in Ireland. A jury decided he must pay nearly $257,000 to a woman who accused him of brutally raping and abusing her at a hotel in December 2018. McGregor has always vehemently denied these allegations and claimed that the woman made up the allegations.
A fight that heats up emotions!
Logan Paul, who went from a YouTuber to a serious boxer, has already fought boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and lasted eight rounds. Paul's brother, Jake Paul, recently made a splash by defeating former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. But that's not all: McGregor has also denied rumors about a possible fight against UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria. Topuria himself dismissed the speculation and stated that he was not interested in a fight with McGregor. “The rumors about a fight with mchicken are false,” he wrote on social media, adding that he didn’t want to fight a “rapist.”
