Drug baron Amra caught in Brutal escape in Romania!
Bukarest, Rumänien - The infamous drug dealer Mohamed Amra, one of the most wanted criminals in France, has finally been caught. After a dramatic escape that began with his violent liberation from a prisoner van in May last year, the 30-year-old was arrested in Romania on Saturday and has now been flown to his home country, as Romanian authorities announced. Two prison attendants were shot in this brutal liberation campaign, in which several hooded and armed men were involved, and three others were injured. A surveillance video documented the extreme potential for violence in the drug milieu in France. According to OE24 , Amra is suspicious of having given orders for murder and other crimes during his time.
After months of hunting, in which more than 300 investigators were in use, the French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau was relieved by the arrest and thanked the responsible Romanian authorities for their cooperation. France's Prime Minister François Bayrou spoke of "great success" and French President Emmanuel Macron also praised this measure as a major progress in the fight against organized crime. Amra, who was convicted of severe thefts at the age of 13 and has been involved in drug and violent crime since then, is now being brought to the court where he is charged with multiple murder and drug trafficking. This is a crucial step to combat the ever greater violence in the drug area, such as FAZ.NET reported.
